Some of the names were also acquired from ancestry and genealogy sites. The time spans may not be accurate or complete and the dates of birth might only be guesstimates, but they are all we have. The names and dates from the US Census data were painstakingly transcribed from the available census records through a lot of trial and error. Many of those who compiled and wrote the information for the Census Bureau had eloquent handwriting but, oftentimes, not easily read. Much interpretation was needed and may not have been translated as accurately as we would have wanted. Our apologies for any errors that may have occurred.

Also, while many last names might be repeated in the various years of compilation, they may not always be of the same family; and it must be understood that the census records did not identify parentage. On numerous occasions, the entries found had faded to a point of illegibility and were, therefore, left off.

We tried to be as helpful as possible but admit to being imperfect. We are always open to correction if proof can be offered; therefore, do not hesitate to contact us if more accurate information is available.
